Strategi Pengembangan Desa Wisata Berbasis Green Tourism

Desa Wisata Karangrejo di Borobudur, Magelang, merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang mengusung konsep green tourism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan berbasis prinsip ekowisata yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memberikan model konseptual pengembangan desa wisata hijau berbasis partisipasi masyarakat di tingkat local disamping itu Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara melibatkan 10 informan, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi program seperti pengelolaan sampah, konservasi air, dan penggunaan energi terbarukan memperkuat daya saing Karangrejo sebagai destinasi wisata hijau. Strategi yang dihasilkan mengutamakan integrasi nilai-nilai lokal dengan praktik ramah lingkungan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan pariwisata di kawasan tersebut.
Karangrejo Tourism Village in Borobudur, Magelang, is one of the tourist destinations promoting green tourism principles. This study aims to formulate development strategies based on sustainable ecotourism principles. The research used a qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. The findings show that community participation, environmental conservation, and collaboration with external parties are key factors in the development of a green tourism village. The implementation of programs such as waste management, water conservation, and the use of renewable energy strengthens Karangrejo's competitiveness as a green tourism destination. The resulting strategies prioritize integrating local values with eco-friendly practices to maintain tourism sustainability in the area.
