Vol. 7 No. 2 (2025): Jurnal Kajian Pariwisata
In this volume, the Journal of Tourism Studies (Jurnal Kajian Pariwisata/JKP) demonstrates a broad and consistent scholarly scope in the field of tourism studies by covering a wide range of themes, including sustainable tourism and green tourism, ecotourism and environmental management, community-based tourism, gastronomic tourism and tourist well-being, destination management and governance, digital tourism marketing and social media, as well as social, cultural, and political issues in tourism development. These themes are examined across diverse tourism contexts, ranging from tourism villages and natural and marine destinations to nationally strategic tourism areas, using various methodological approaches. In terms of author diversity, the articles in this volume are contributed by authors from both public and private higher education institutions, including vocational institutions, representing nine higher education institutions in total. Geographically, the authors are affiliated with institutions located in six provinces in Indonesia, namely Central Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java, West Java, Bali, and East Nusa Tenggara. This diversity in scope, institutional background, and geographic representation reflects the journal’s national reach and strengthens JKP’s role as an inclusive and representative scholarly platform for advancing tourism knowledge and practice in Indonesia.
