Sara Island, located in the Talaud Islands Regency, is a marine tourism destination with immense natural potential, characterized by beautiful white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the pristine scenery of a small island. Its location in Indonesia's border region gives Sara Island not only economic value through tourism but also strategic importance in supporting border area development. Developing marine tourism in this region can serve as a key instrument for improving local community welfare and reinforcing the border area's status as an integral part of the nation's identity and sovereignty. This study aims to analyze the impact of tourist satisfaction on the intention to revisit and to examine the moderating role of destination image in this relationship at the Sara Island tourism destination in the Talaud Islands Regency border region. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 153 tourists who had previously visited Sara Island. Data analysis was conducted using the Warp-PLS method to examine the relationships between variables and the moderating effect. The results indicate that tourist satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on the intention to revisit. Furthermore, the study confirms that destination image significantly and positively moderates this relationship.
