Kepuasan Wisatawan dan Niat Berkunjung Kembali di Pulau Sara: Peran Moderasi Citra Destinasi

Pulau Sara yang terletak di Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata bahari yang memiliki potensi alam yang sangat besar, seperti keindahan pantai berpasir putih, kejernihan air laut, serta panorama pulau kecil yang masih alami. Letaknya yang berada di kawasan perbatasan Indonesia menjadikan Pulau Sara tidak hanya memiliki nilai ekonomi melalui sektor pariwisata, tetapi juga memiliki nilai strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan wilayah perbatasan. Pengembangan pariwisata bahari di wilayah ini dapat menjadi salah satu instrumen penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal serta memperkuat eksistensi wilayah perbatasan sebagai bagian dari identitas dan kedaulatan negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan wisatawan terhadap niat berkunjung kembali serta menguji peran moderasi citra destinasi dalam hubungan tersebut pada destinasi wisata pulau sara di wilayah perbatasan Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kepada wisatawan yang pernah berkunjung ke Pulau Sara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 153. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Warp-PLS untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel dan efek moderasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan wisatawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat kunjungan kembali. Selain itu, studi ini juga mendukung temuan bahwa citra destinasi memoderasi hubungan tersebut secara signifikan dan positif.
Sara Island, located in the Talaud Islands Regency, is a marine tourism destination with immense natural potential, characterized by beautiful white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the pristine scenery of a small island. Its location in Indonesia's border region gives Sara Island not only economic value through tourism but also strategic importance in supporting border area development. Developing marine tourism in this region can serve as a key instrument for improving local community welfare and reinforcing the border area's status as an integral part of the nation's identity and sovereignty. This study aims to analyze the impact of tourist satisfaction on the intention to revisit and to examine the moderating role of destination image in this relationship at the Sara Island tourism destination in the Talaud Islands Regency border region. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 153 tourists who had previously visited Sara Island. Data analysis was conducted using the Warp-PLS method to examine the relationships between variables and the moderating effect. The results indicate that tourist satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on the intention to revisit. Furthermore, the study confirms that destination image significantly and positively moderates this relationship.
