PENGEMBANGAN FRIDEM SEBAGAI SCREENING TOOL DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2 BAGI MASYARAKAT INDONESIA

Abstract

Pentingnya usaha pencegahan untuk menekan angka kejadian Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 yang terus bertambah setiap tahunnya menuntut perlunya alat skrining yang tepat. Tidak hanya untuk mendeteksi berbagai faktor risiko namun juga instrumen yang sudah disesuaikan dengan karakteristik populasi Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat skrining Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 baru yang telah disesuaikan dengan karakteristik masyarakat Indonesia yang dievaluasi dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Kuesioner Faktor Risiko Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 (FRIDEM) diadaptasi berdasarkan American Diabetes Association-Risc (ADA Risc Test) dan Finnish Diabetes Risc Score (FINDRISC) yang telah melalui proses translasi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Validitas item dilihat dari besarnya nilai r-tabel dengan r-hitung dan reliabilitas dilihat melalui koefisien cronbach-alpha. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen FRIDEM memiliki total 10 item pertanyaan yang valid dan reliabel. Hal ini membuat FRIDEM dapat digunakan baik oleh tenaga kesehatan maupun masyarakat Indonesia.
