Abstract

Kampung Adat Cirendeu merupakan salah satu kampung adat yang masih menjaga nilai-nilai peninggalan leluhurnya, salah satunya adalah budaya dalam mengkonsumsi singkong sebagai makanan pokok keseharianya. Kebudayaan tersebut memiliki nilai tersendiri yang membentuk ciri khas budaya Kampung Adat Cirendeu dibandingkan dengan kampung-kampung adat lainya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan nilai budaya pangan Singkong di Kampung Adat Cirendeu. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunaan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian terdiri dari sumber data primer yang terdiri dari data penelitian hasil kegiatan observasi, kegiatan wawancara dan kegiatan dokumentasi, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui kegiatan studi kepustakaan yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan konsep yang sedang diteliti. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai budaya pangan singkong di Kampung adat Cirendeu terdiri dari 3 konsep utama, diantaranya nilai budaya yang berkaitan dengan Singkong sebagai simbol budaya di Kampung adat Cirendeu, Nilai budaya yang berkaitan antara singkong dengan tingkah laku masyarakat kampung adat Cirendeu dan nilai budaya yang berkaitan antara Singkong dengan kepercayaan yang dianut oleh masyarakat Kampung Adat Cirendeu.

Cirendeu Traditional Village is one of the traditional villages that still maintains the values ??of its ancestral heritage, one of which is the culture of consuming cassava as a daily staple food. This culture has its own values ??that form the cultural characteristics of the Cirendeu Traditional Village compared to other traditional villages in Indonesia. This study aims to explain the cultural value of cassava food in the Cirendeu Traditional Village. The method in this study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research data sources consist of primary data sources consisting of research data from observations, interviews and documentation activities, while secondary data is obtained through library research activities that are related to the concept being studied. The results in this study indicate that the cultural value of cassava food in the Cirendeu traditional village consists of 3 main concepts, including the cultural values ??related to cassava as a cultural symbol in the Cirendeu traditional village, the cultural values ??related to cassava with the behavior of the Cirendeu traditional village community and the There is a cultural relationship between cassava and the beliefs held by the people of the Cirendeu Traditional Village.
