Gambaran Cyberbullying Pada Siswa di SMA X Kota Bandung

Abstract

 

ABSTRAK

Penggunaan internet pada remaja tidak hanya berdampak positif melainkan juga dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif, salah satunya yatu cyberbullying. Seseorang yang terlibat cyberbullying memiliki dampak, seperti perasaan cemas, malu dan marah, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian cyberbullying pada siswa di SMA X Kota Bandung. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang dilibatkan berjumlah 743 siswa dari kelas X dan XI di SMA X Kota Bandung. Berdasarkan teknik stratified random sampling didapatkan 260 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen cyberbullying dari teori yang digunakan oleh peneliti sendiri berdasarkan teori Willard (2007). Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 93,1% responden terlibat cyberbullying dan 6,9% tidak terlibat cyberbullying (n=260). Dari responden yang terlibat cyberbullying sebanyak 93,1% (242 siswa) terdapat 4,1% (10 orang) sebagai pelaku, 17,0% (41 orang) sebagai korban, dan 78,9% (191 orang) sebagai pelaku dan korban. Berdasarkan bentuk yang paling banyak terjadi pada responden sebagai pelaku, korban serta pelaku dan korban yaitu bentuk Flaming (41,0%) sedangkan paling sedikit yaitu Cyberstalking (14,9%). Simpulan dari penelitian ini sebagian besar siswa terlibat cyberbullying yang menjadi pelaku dan juga sekaligus menjadi korban, sehingga menimbulkan dampak yang mempengaruhi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu adanya tindak lanjut dari perawat dalam menangani dampak dari masing-masing bentuk cyberbullying khususnya pada kondisi fisik dan psikologisnya. Perawat dapat melakukan penanganan seperti manajemen marah, mengatasi kecemasan dan cara meningkatkan koping yang baik.

ABTRACT

Background. Internet using in adolescents not only have a positive impact, but also can have a negative impact, one of which is cyberbullying. Someone who involved in cyberbullying has an impact such as feeling embarrassed, anxious and angry, so this research aims to describe the incidence of cyberbullying in students at Senior High School X in Bandung City. The design of this study was a quantitative descriptive methods. The population involved amounted to 743 students from class X and class XI at Senior High School X in Bandung City. Based on the stratified random sampling technique obtained 260 students as the research sample. This research using a cyberbullying instrument from the theory used by the researchers themselves based on Willard's (2007) theory. This study used univariate analysis, so the data were analyzed descriptively and statistically by frequency distribution. The results of this research indicate that 93.1% of respondents involved cyberbullying and 6.9% were not involved in cyberbullying (n=260). Of the repondents involved in cyberbullying 93.1% (242 students) there were 4.1% (10 people) as perpetrators, 17.0% (41 People) as victims, and 78.9% (191 people) as perpetrators and victims. Based on the form, the most occurred to respondents as perpetrators, victims, and perpetrators and victims, namely Flaming form (41.0%) while the least namely Cyberstalking form (14.9%). The conclusions from this research are that most students are involved in cyberbullying as perpetrators and also at the same time become victims, so it can causing an impact. This condition shows that there is a need from nurses's help for follow up this cases in dealing with the impact of each form of cyberbullying especially on their physical and psychological conditions. Nurses can handle such things as anger management, overcoming anxiety and ways to improve coping well.
