Proposed policy for journals offering open-access publication. Authors must agree to the following terms:

1. Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication simultaneously under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, as well as remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

2. Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), provided that its original publication in this journal is properly acknowledged.

3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal websites) such as on Garuda, Academia, ResearchGate, or other repositories, prior to and during the submission process. This practice can lead to productive exchanges as well as earlier and increased citation of the published work (see The Effect of Open Access).
