Dukungan Keluarga Pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II di Wilayah Binaan Puskesmas Babakan Sari

Abstract

 

ABSTRAK

Jumlah penderita diabetes mellitus semakin meningkat. Penyakit diabetes merupakan salah satu penyakit tertinggi di Kota Bandung. Puskesmas Babakan Sari merupakan salah satu puskesmas yang sudah menggalakan Posbindu PTM yang di dalamnya terdapat  program tentang Diabetes mellitus. Diabetes terdiri dari DM tipe 1 dan DM tipe II.  DM tipe II adalah bentuk paling umum dari diabetes, yang merupakan kondisi kronis dan jika tidak ditangani secara serius dapat menyebabkan komplikasi seperti penyakit ginjal, amputasi dan kebutaan. Keluarga sangat berperan penting dalam pencegahan dan  membantu mengatasi masalah penyakit pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran dukungan keluarga pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe II. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang keluarga pasien DM tipe II dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukkan hampir seluruhnya yaitu 33 orang (82,5%) memiliki dukungan keluarga yang mendukung. Berdasarkan dimensi dukungan emosional, sebagian besar responden yaitu 26 orang (65%) mendukung. Kemudian pada dimensi dukungan informasi sebagian besar mendukung yaitu 27 orang (67,5%). Sedangkan pada dukungan penilaian, sebagian besar mendukung yaitu 24 orang (60%)/ pada dukungan instrumentasl, hampir seluruhnya mendukung yaitu 32 orang (80%). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah mayoritas keluarga mendukung pasien DM tipe II. Saran bagi Puskesmas Babakan Sari adalah memberikan intervensi salah satunya penkes agar dapat tetap mempertahankan dukungan keluarga

ABSTRACT

The number of people with diabetes mellitus is increasing. Diabetes is one of the highest diseases in the city of Bandung. Babakan Sari Health Center is one of the health centers that have promoted the Posbindu PTM program which is complemented by a program on Diabetes mellitus. Diabetes consists of type 1 DM and type II DM. Type II DM is the most common form of diabetes, which is a chronic disease and if not a problem of complications such as kidney disease, amputation and blindness. The family is very important in overcoming and helping to overcome the patient's problems. The purpose of this study was to test a study in type II Diabetes Mellitus patients. The design of this study was descriptive, evaluation sample of 40 families of type II DM patients with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that almost all 33 people (82.5%) had supportive family support. Based on the dimensions of emotional support, the majority of respondents namely 26 people (65%) support. Then in the information support dimension of 27 people (67.5%). Whereas in support, the majority supported 24 people (60%) / in instrument support, almost fully supported 32 people (80%). The conclusion of this study is to support the families of type II DM patients. The advice for Puskesmas Babakan Sari is to provide assistance from one of the health providers in order to continue to support the family
