Abstract

Communication is the process of delivering information or messages from one party to another, such as communication between teachers and students in an environment or place. The teacher is an influential figure in the school environment, in order to provide knowledge, enthusiasm or solutions faced by a student, not only that, the teacher can also be a learning guide so that the desired student achievement can be achieved and provide good results. Thus, teachers and students can communicate with each other interpersonally in accordance with the title of this study, namely "Interpersonal Communication of Teachers and Students in Student Achievement Awards". The purpose of this study was to determine the interpersonal model of teachers and students in the communication process, what obstacles were passed by students, and what solutions could be overcome. This study uses a descriptive approach. The research method used is a qualitative method by taking teacher and student informants at SMK Bakti Nusantara 666. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data has been collected, it is then analyzed descriptively-qualitatively. The results of the research can see the process in which interpersonal communication takes place between teachers and students, communication barriers, and communication solutions. Which can be used as material for the end of the discussion later.
